Who We Are

Seeda is a digital commerce app designed to connect customers with independent shops, restaurants, cafés, pharmacies, supermarkets, retailers, service providers, and other eligible businesses.

Through the Seeda platform, participating Shops can build and manage their digital presence, create digital storefronts, list products or services, receive and manage customer orders, and manage fulfilment and delivery.

Seeda provides the technology and marketplace infrastructure that enables these interactions while allowing Shops to remain independent sellers of their products and services.

Helping Local Shops Go Digital

Seeda is built to make digital commerce more accessible to local businesses.

Under our current business model, Seeda does not charge Shops a percentage commission on their product sales.This means Shops can build their digital presence, reach customers, receive online orders, and grow their business without sharing a percentage of each sale with Seeda under the current model.

Seeda may introduce, modify, or offer different pricing models or other commercial arrangements in the future. Any such changes will be communicated to affected Shops in advance and will apply in accordance with the applicable agreement and terms.

Shops Remain Independent Sellers

Each Shop remains an independent business and the seller of the products or services it offers through Seeda.

Each Shop is responsible for the products and services it lists and sells through Seeda, including, as applicable:

Product and service information;

Prices and availability;

Inventory;

Product quality, authenticity, legality, and safety;

Required licences, approvals, permits, and registrations;

Preparation and packaging;

Order acceptance and fulfilment;

Customer service relating to the order;

Applicable warranties, returns, replacements, and refunds; and

Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Delivery

During Seeda's current operating phase, delivery is arranged and fulfilled by the Shop, its authorised delivery personnel, or its chosen delivery provider unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout.

Where delivery is provided by the Shop, the Shop is responsible for its delivery operations, including delivery personnel, delivery areas, applicable delivery charges, delivery estimates, handling, and completion of delivery.

Seeda may display delivery information provided by the Shop and provide technology that helps facilitate, manage, or track an order.

Delivery by Seeda Coming in a Future Phase

Seeda is working toward introducing Delivery by Seeda and may introduce its own or partnered logistics and delivery services in the future.

When such services become available, the Platform will clearly indicate when an order is being delivered by Seeda or an authorised Seeda delivery partner, and additional terms may apply.

Until then, unless otherwise expressly stated, delivery remains the responsibility of the relevant Shop.

Our Role

Seeda's role is to make local commerce simpler and more digital by providing technology that connects customers with Shops.

We provide the digital infrastructure. Shops run their businesses, sell their products and services, and fulfil their customer orders.
